 An excellent detector! January 2, 2009
My wife bought me this for Christmas after I searched around for a decent model and did my homework. I found it to be very accurate even on my old sheet rock walls, this is not Sheetrock brand but the old stuff.
I used it first to hang a dart board in my recording studio.
The metal finder works, as does the live AC finder. It is very easy to use, read the directions first! Both parts need to be against the wall for it to turn on and engage. It comes with a Duracell battery, which was another good sign, if most products even come with a battery they are cheap, this wasn't.
This is by far the best detector I've used and I wish I had gotten it earlier.

This worked perfectly for finding studs as well as AC within the walls while mounting my LCD TV.

This Zircon is lightyears ahead of the one I bought several years ago. Really nice to have the center of the stud identified.
