The best! October 2, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have had this printer for a month and my wife says it's THE BEST one we have ever owned. She does photo printing and photo scanning most of the time and it hasn't jammed yet. With the two feeders loaded (one with regular paper and one with photo paper) and a click of the feed switch, she can jump from one job to another in a second. It very easy to operate, quiet and lots of 'how-to' instructions available. Very sleek looking too. We read reviews and studied many printers and finally decided this is the one. We made a good choice for the price and got exactly what we wanted. I would recommend this printer.
Great photo printer September 27, 2008 I am a general contractor and used this printer to enter some of my projects in a local competition. I was stunned as I saw the first picture come off of this thing. I ran downstairs and showed it to my wife and told her that this is the best printer we have ever owned.
I did all kinds of research on these types of printers and it is tough as every printer out there has at least one person who says it is a piece of $#@!. I took a chance and bought this one at a local store, bought a 3 year warranty, and off to the races. I printed up around 70 images and all of them came out great. Just be sure to use photo paper, not regular bond.
We wont use this printer for everyday printing as you basically have to buy Canon ink, which ain't cheap. The tanks come with chips so you cant use them twice, at least it seems that way. But man, the images are worth it.
  Canon MP610 All-In-One September 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great features and excellent value for the money. I am amazed at how good this product is and what it can do for what it costs. My only criticism is that the MP610 is not as solidly built as I would prefer. The paper scanner lid, control panel, and paper trays are all too light duty in construction for an office environment, but with thoughtful treatment, it is fine for home use.
great multifunction printer/scanner/copier September 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I previously owned a Canon MP 520, and upgraded to this one because I wanted to be able to do duplex. Like most Canon's, this printer is a bit bulky, but what do you expect from a multifunction?
This printer does everything you want it to do! Prints great, copies fast and scans very fast as well. The display and operating panel make it super intuitive, no need to read 50 pages of manuals just to make a copy.
I use it mostly to print out lecture notes for class, and it prints fast at a consistently high quality. Lots of ways to change quality, etc, if you're looking for that kind of thing.
My favorite thing is the two paper-feed options. You have a cassette at the bottom and a feeder on the back. I don't know of any other printer in this price/quality category with that feature. It's very handy if you use more than one paper size or quality, or for printing envelopes. No need to take out all the paper and stick in one envelope - you just press the paper feed button on the control panel (or chose the paper tray on your computer), and print.
Overall, I can highly recommend this printer.

I've had this printer 3 months. Glad I bought it. It's quiet, fast, set-up was easy and it has excellent color accuracy.
